The Ein Prosit Cultural Association (ACEP) - founded on August 20, 2017 - arose out of the necessity of the German Folklore Group Immer Lustig (GFGIL) to create a legal identity in order to exist de jure and de facto. GFGIL already had an internal charter and a board. From the creation of ACEP - GFGIL became a project linked to it - other projects can be developed. Thus, more alternative activities than those already provided by GFGIL may have space, more people can contribute to the growth of the various ways that Germanic folklore can be manifested in Santa Maria-RS and region. With the creation of ACEP, the search for resources and participation in public events is maximized. ACEP is characterized as a non-profit entity with a cultural and social nature.
Ein Prosit!
The name “Ein Prosit” is a tribute to the first people who started the GFGIL trajectory, and “Ein Prosit” in German has the meaning of “A Toast” in Portuguese.
